Water Wood Westport Bed & Breakfast
Based in the beautiful village of Westport Ontario, my home studio is also a traditional Bed & Breakfast. Guests are treated to a comfortable stay in a delightful little village with a delicious breakfast made with local ingredients. Water Wood Style products decorate every room in this newly renovated country home and are available for purchase on site or on-line.
The three bedrooms are inspired by the surrounding watersheds. Westport is nestled between two lakes and a pond at the foot of Foley Mountain Conservation Area and the headwaters of the Rideau and Cataraqui rivers. The Canadian Shield rock outcrops, forests of birch, maple and pines and surrounded by thousands of lakes and rivers the area is a nature lover's paradise.
The Rideau Room offers a king bed with a single day bed and decorated with scenes from the Upper Rideau Lake where Westport's harbour services the Historical Rideau Canal.
The Cataraqui Room has a queen sized bed and features the watery delights that can be found where the Cataraqui Watershed flows south towards Kingston.
The Frontenac Room offers a comfy queen bed in a large room adorned with the rich fall colours of an Ontario October. The Frontenac Arch is a natural ridge of limestone similar to the Niagara Escarpment and is a hikers and photographer's haven. There are just too many trails to count so pack a sturdy pair of shoes.
The Watershed shower room greets you with the splendour of wildlife that are abundant throughout this area.
